Kaisercraft moodboard challenge

So this month over on the Kaisercraft blog we have new assignments
And part of that is a monthly challenge
Lots of fun huh!! Love moodboards

So here is my take on it
I went with touches of purple using the collectables and the sticker sheet
Along with lots of fussy cutting and some wood grain and a few paper layers

I kept it fairly simple as I wanted the fussy cutting and photo to be the focus of my page

I absolutely love watching bees hop from one flower to another as their little back legs fill with pollen

Watching nature at its best.. Here are some close up shots of my fussy cutting

Beach fun - sassy scrapper moodboard

Hi .. sharing my take on the lovey moodboard this month
Using some lovely patterned papers from heidi swapp

I started off by wanting the red as my border colour but
Had to add a second colour the White with black stripes went so well with the red

Adding more of that red polka dot patterned paper under my lace paper
And vellum an a few bits of patterned paper to add to my layers
I popped in a stamped tag and stapled it

I really wanted a black cut title I was thinking of
hand cutting it but ended up changing my mind
And ended up cutting it out with my silhouette

And here is m finished page

I added a few embellishments

And some flicks of mist

I hope you have fun with this moodboard....

kaisercraft projects

Hi happy July everyone!!
Wow so excited to be kicking off the new blogging schedule over on the kaisercraft blog and to be part of the team again for another year.. ( happy dance )

I'm a big fan of taking photographs of flowers
and when I seen the Botanical collection
i was excited to start playing with it that hint of purple with

the green just absolutely lovely.
started off with white cardstock the base of most of my layouts as I love white space.
I love adding a border around my layouts it gives that little extra colour

On top of my paper I added some glassine paper that I had embossed with the roses embossing folder to lighten the paper and to add some texture to it
I cut my title out with my silhouette cameo using a bit of patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad
And added some purple watercolor lightly across it .

This is just a simple card that I've added some collectables
and embossed stamped leaf with a twine bow

Other |Twine | white embossing powder |glassine paper | white cardstock

I totally love all the flowers in this fly free collection
I went with simple layers using the 12x12 papers and the paper pad I do like mixing
With the small and big pattern on the paper I think it adds that veritie
The pops of colour with this lovely collection was inspirational
the perfect colour tones for that girly layout

Every once in a while I get a collection of my daughters selfies
That I like to document, I really get to see how much she has really grown up
I'm one of those Scrappers that don't scrap all the photos I take but I do
enjoy looking back through them from time to time

The fussy cut flowers add that little extra lovely to the layout I think
Just tucked behind the collectables and lightly glued down

I love flicking mist but I do try not to go to crazy with it lol
And a few scattered rhinestones add extra colour

hello today - Sassy scrapper

This week at sassy I wanted to use the plus sign vellum from crate paper in a different way
On my layout using triangles

I gathered some of the patterned paper and clear foiled card
and stapled them together For my layers

And here is my finished layout
I've machine stitched the outer edge of the vellum and a border around the edge

I love the colours pink, gold, white and grey perfect for them girly projects
Gold word stickers are just super lovely

I added the cute little star puffy stickers

I inked the wood veneer owl with light pink
and added little hear puffy stickers for eyes

And a paper doily behind my photo as I'm really loving that look
And a flick of gold paint to finish it off
