Couture Creations | Aster card

Today I'm sharing a card using the
Hearts ease 6x6 paper pad, Aster die and the Hanslope die

I started off by selecting all my patterned papers
For my base I chose a pattern that had all the colours
Next I cut a strip of yellow pattern paper and placed it across my card

Then I added some ribbon and a bow across the top of the strip of patterned paper

I die cut the aster flower in the purple patterned paper and layered it and added some vintage gold gems

Next I hand cut some leaves from green paper from the paper pad
Then I die cut the hanslope die and added some double sided foam tape to pop it up

And then I flicked white mist to finish it off

Poor guy I had to laugh he thought I was her sister and I was takin the piss outer him lol
But I did have to tell him a few times that I was her mother till he knew I wasn't joking

Christmas Card | Sassy Scrappers

Today I'm sharing a quick easy to make Christmas card
Using the lovey Christmas collection from Cocovanilla studio

I cut my background patterned paper to size
just so I had a bit of a border around the edge of my card
And machine stitched around the edges
Then adhered it to my card base

Next I cut a strip of patterned paper and adhered it across the middle of my card
Then I die cut a scallop oval and fussy cut one of the 3 x4 cut outs and stuck it in the middle of my die cut scallop oval and added pop dots behind

Then I die cut some holly using a couture creations die
and adhered to the edge of the oval and a flair and added a few die cuts from the die cut pack and a few rhinestones

Pop on over to the sassy store and check out the lovely collection from Cocovanilla studio
They sure are super lovely....

And a few flicks of charcoal mist

I stamped one of the clear stamps on the frame from the collectables

Yummo layout | sketchabilities #147

Today I wanted to play with some pretty papers ...
So I pulled out the fine and dandy paper pad from dear lizzy and followed along with a sketch from sketchabilities ..
I love watermelon and summer is just around the corner , I'm really hoping that it doesn't get that hot this year but I'm guessing it will

I used one of the cut files I created to pop behind my photo layers

And I really adore those gold foiled thickers and heart stickers from amy tangerine and a die cut arrow from the new collection finders keepers and a flick of pink mist across the page

And I also added a puffy sticker from the new dear lizzy collection documentary and I stamped the phrase stamp a few times and a little paper clip

Thanks for popping by and checking out my layout

Fave Memory | Kaisercraft Home for Christmas

So one of our assignments this week for Kaisercraft was to use the specialty die cut
On a layout I chose to use it as part of embellishments at top and bottom of my page

I wanted to use it other then just putting the whole die cut on my page I think it works well to draw the eye in to the photo in the middle and I've used that fun frame die to frame my 3 girls in the photo

Adding cardstock to the back of the die cut adds that bit of dimension to the frame
And I've added a few flicks of charcoal mist

Mitten album | Sassy Scrappers

Happy Sassy Thursday..
Today I'm sharing a cute little mini album that is super easy to make
Using cardstock and some beautiful Cocovanilla studio Tis the season collection

Using a mitten cut file that I found while searching Pinterest..
I started off by cutting out 4 mittens in white cardstock with my cameo

Then I cut 4 more mittens just a bit smaller to layer over each of the mitten shapes

but I only used 3 of the white cardstock cuts and with the 4th I cut the top off it so I could emboss it and add pop dot behind it to give it dimension

Next I punched a hole in the top left hand corner to pop the ring through and I was ready to add my photos and embellishments

I added a photo of each of my daughters with the gift they wanted most for Christmas

And here is another look at the mini mitten album spread out

I hope it inspires you to have some fun playing.. Don't forget to check out the fun Christmas collection from Cocovanilla studio in the sassy store
